Physical Security in Data Centers

In 2016, AFCOM conducted a study on the data center industry, as summarized by Data Center Knowledge. Industry leaders were asked about feedback and expectations, as well as their priorities. They were also asked about data center growth. Results of the study showed that 58 percent of the respondents actually own two to nine data center facilities.  A three-year forecast also showed that the average number of data centers managed by businesses will eventually go up to around 10 per business. Can you imagine the value and worth of data from all over the world that these centers hold? To date, there have been innovative ways and developments on how to keep data secure and safe. While most people think of cybersecurity as the top choice for keeping data systems intact, physical security is still very much a critical  business aspect.
