In the United States during their 2015 fiscal year, their federal budget was US$3.8 trillion, according to National Priorities Project. This large amount of funding actually made up only 21 percent of the United States’ economy and totals to around $12,000 per person. The big percentages of the total budget are allotted to military programs, early childhood education programs, and training and placements for the unemployed.
